At the time (1947-1956), the Cosmic was one of the most exclusive watches made by Omega. Featuring a complete calendar with pointer date, moon-phase, and running seconds - the Cosmic fit useful features into an extremely elegant watch. The date is easily adjusted with small pushers recessed within the sides of the case. In addition, the Lemania developed Calibre 381 T had anti-magnetic and anti-shock measures. The good condition gold-plated 35mm case with 'horn lugs' wears beautifully on the wrist, and the rich black dial contrasts excellently with the gold hands and case - with black dials being rare on watches of this type and age.
