The Watch

This Lange 1 Daymatic Ref. 320.032, with factory stickers still in place, is an exceptional example of German haute horology. This 39.5mm pink gold Lange 1 features the distinctive asymmetric dial layout that defines the collection. The display includes the signature outsize date complication, along with a retrograde day-of-the-week indicator positioned along the left side of the dial, offering both functionality and visual balance.

At the heart of the watch is the calibre L021.1, a highly sophisticated self-winding movement composed of over 400 individual components. The movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers an approximate power reserve of 50 hours. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal case back, allowing the owner to admire the craftsmanship for which Lange has become famous.

All items have been inspected for authenticity, and are guaranteed as such. As this is a pre-owned watch, signs of wear consistent with age and previous use should be expected. Buyers of watches should also recognise that maintenance and treatment appropriate to the watch in question are required to protect time-keeping and condition. There is a 6 month function guarantee for watches costing £1000 or more. Water resistance is not guaranteed; even watches originally waterproof may not be so, unless recently sealed and pressure-tested.
