The Watch

The TAG Heuer Monaco CS2110 is an iconic square-cased chronograph, instantly recognisable for its bold, vintage-inspired design. The gloss black dial has attractively aged tritium lume on the hands and indices, as well as a date window positioned at 6 o’clock, which - like the original - is viewed under a plexiglass crystal. Powered by the Swiss ETA 2894 movement, the movement has both the appeal of a mechanical chronograph and a plentiful supply of spare parts. The case measures approximately 38mm, but wears substantially larger due to its shape. 

Dimensions: 38mm wide, 46mm lug-to-lug, 13mm thick.

The Monaco was originally an avant-garde watch designed to launch one of the world's first automatic chronograph movements, with Heuer ensuring its impact by purchasing exclusive rights from case-maker EPSA to use their newly-developed square waterproof chronograph case. The Monaco gained global recognition following its association with Steve McQueen in the 1970 film Le Mans, cementing its reputation as one of the most distinctive chronograph designs ever produced.

Authenticity, Condition, and Guarantees

All items have been inspected for authenticity, and are guaranteed as such. As this is a pre-owned watch, signs of wear consistent with age and previous use should be expected. Buyers of watches should also recognise that maintenance and treatment appropriate to the watch in question are required to protect time-keeping and condition. There is a 6 month function guarantee for watches costing £1000 or more. Water resistance is not guaranteed; even watches originally waterproof may not be so, unless recently sealed and pressure-tested.
