This watch houses a Rolex calibre 2236 movement and a screw down crown making it water proof to 100m/330ft. This watch comes as a full set will box, paperwork and hang tags.

In 1905, at the age of 24, Hans Wilsdorf founded a company in London specialising in the distribution of timepieces. He began to dream of a watch worn on the wrist. Wristwatches were not very precise at the time, but Hans Wilsdorf foresaw that they could become not only elegant, but also reliable. In 1945, the first Rolex Datejust was released, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Rolex, it has remained largely unchanged for the past 60 years. The Datejust was the first automatic wristwatch with an automatically changing date window. It was housed in an Oyster case.
